Support and Care

We are complex beings who desire to connect and to be heard. When any part of our lives or systems go in a direction that is opposing to our values we feel out sync. Depending on the level of severity or length of time it will undoubtedly take a toll on us. Therapy is a really great place to unpack that, sit with another human who cares, and heal.

About

Compassion, Skills, Healing

As a licensed professional counselor, I am committed to providing quality counseling services to Tennesseans as well as virtual services to the community at large. I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in 2012 and have been licensed in Tennessee since 2015. I have worked in mental health since 2008. I was fortunate to work in a Christian environment providing guidance and support through a Christ-centered, holistic approach from 2012-2016, under an incredible supervisory and psychologist. However, I only provide faith based counseling when asked to do so. Something I have a lot of passion for is the system of spiritual abuse and I desire to be a part of the healing from this systematic abuse. I accept people from all walks of life and believe that everyone deserves dignity and respect regardless of race, gender, age, class, sexual orientation, nationality and so on. There may be many reasons for people to seek counseling including relationship difficulties, loss, life transitions, depression, anxiety, etc. Counseling can help you develop insight, learn skills, and make necessary changes. However, while no counselor can guarantee specific outcomes, I will encourage you to set specific goals and will aim to help you make progress toward those goals.
